Now in 2008 Coffins is back with its third and most ridiculously heavy death doom masterpiece Buried Death, released worldwide by 20 Buck Spin. Instantly memorable tracks like Under The Stench and Cadaver Blood devastate eardrums with skullcrushing production that suits the music's oppressive, bestial nature. Songwriting duties have become more of a band effort with bassist Koreeda contributing several songs. A perfect combination of their influences (Autopsy, Winter, Celtic Frost, Eyehategod) and their own harrowing sound.

Additionally the band makes their US debut to support Buried Death with a week of dates with 20 Buck Spin label mates The Endless Blockade culminating with an appearance at the renowned Maryland Deathfest in Baltimore. 2008 is the year all true doom death maniacs plunge into the Coffin.
