In the blistering hot summer of 2006, while war was raging all around them, Attila Csihar (Tormentor, Mayhem, and contributing vocalist of Sunn 0))), Oren Ambarchi (contributing member of Sunn 0)))) and Stephen O'Malley (Khanate, KTL, Sunn 0)))) convened in Israel to perform shows as a trio under the moniker: Grave Temple.
Despite pleas from friends and families, and an imminent war with numerous terrorist attacks around them, the trio ploughed ahead to lay waste to the unsuspecting Israelites. This album: 'The Holy Down' is a documentation of the absolute sheer force these three radicals threw down during these rare performances.
An epic 60 minute journey, ritualistic, mesmerizing and completely raw. The CD is packaged with a booklet that contains photos and liner notes (in English and Hebrew!) from rabid fans that attended the performances.
