The collaboration came about as the two were working on a theatre production by Gisèle Vienne and Dennis Cooper, entitled 'Kindertotenlieder'. It must be stated that this album is NOT the soundtrack to said piece, but a separate project. However, elements may appear in said piece which is to be premiered in Brest, France, March 2007.
This special deluxe vinyl version of the CD, which was put out on Editions Mego, features double heavyweight black vinyl in a gatefold sleeve. Artwork and poster designed by Gisèle Vienne, SOMA (Stephen O'Malley) and Antoine Masure. Strictly limited to 1000 copies!
