Daniel O'Sullivan is a composer / arranger from London. With a background in piano and guitar, O'Sullivan has successfully subverted these mediums with avant-rock bands, Guapo (Ipecac / Neurot Recordings) and Miasma & The Carousel Of Headless Horses (Web of Mimicry / Rise Above Records) as well as composing music for film and television. More recent work includes live performances as part of Sunn O))) and an improvised project, Æthenor with Stephen O'Malley, (Sunn O))), KTL) and Vincent de Roguin (Shora). The follow-up to their debut album Deep In Ocean Sunk The Lamp Of Light (VHF Recordings) is due to be released in spring 2008, and features contributions from David Tibet (Current 93), Kristoffer Rygg (Ulver) and long time friend and collaborator Alexander Tucker.
Antti Uusimaki is a producer and engineer from Helsinki. As well as working with the likes of Brian Eno, Barry Adamson and Tindersticks, Uusimaki formed industrial band Panic DHH (Digital Hardcore Recordings) in 2002. Using Uusimaki's keyboard and programming skills, the band developed an unconventional amalgam of detailed sound design and extreme noise.
Flax of Reverie's cast of musicians includes clarinet/saxophone virtuoso Gilad Atzmon (Robert Wyatt, The Blockheads), bassoonist Chloe Herington (Chrome Hoof), violinist Sara Hubrich (Miasma & The Carousel Of Headless Horses) and drummer Jaime Gomez Arrellano.
