UJ366 United Jnana/Durtro Jnana
By 1981, only Stapleton was left from the original trio and he now regards 1982’s Homotopy To Marie, as being the first proper Nurse With Wound release. It’s audibly less musically conventional than its predecessors and has been described as eerie, volatile and often unsettling, with combined tape edits of resonating gong tones and disembodied children’s voices, creating a sonic collage far removed from the harsh improvisations of the group’s early albums.
Originally issued on Stapleton’s own United Dairies label in an initial pressing of 5,000, we are pleased to announce the reissue of Homotopy To Marie. It has been remastered and released in a full colour six-panel digipak with newly-designed artwork. While there are no extra tracks, the disc index markers have been corrected to reflect the actual track lengths.
