EX-PENTAGRAM GUITARIST TRIUMPHANTLY RETURNS! If ever the term "living-legend" or cult status was to be bestowed upon a guitarist in the doom genre, Place of Skulls axe-man Victor Griffin is most definitely worthy. Victor founded the legendary band Death Row, and was the guitarist in Pentagram. Pentagram went onto release 3 infamous albums: "Relentless", "Day of Reckoning" and "Be Forwarned" (all on Peaceville) showcasing Victors' unmistakable tone After several years away from the music scene to exorcise personal demons, Victor has returned with a new band. Based in Knoxville, TN., he has reunited with original Death Row bassist Lee Abney. After recruiting a hard hitting drummer in Tim Tomaselli, they became Place of Skulls in the spring of 2000. Together they have soundly formed a heavy, spiritual, soulful band with a touch of doom and darkness. "Nailed" combines exemplary musicianship with top-quality songwriting and extreme heaviness.
