Sage Francis AKA Xaul Zan AKA Strange Famous, member of the witness protection program, 2000 Scribble Battle MC Champ, 1999 Super Bowl Battle MC Champ, and nationally ranked slam poet 1998 and 1999, dropped his official debut album, Personal Journals, in June 2002.
"Climb Trees" is the first single taken from this highly acclaimed album. The "Climb Trees" twelve inch features Sage rhyming both with a full fledged, Grizzly Adams beard and a completely nekid mug.
Side A contains three banging, emotionally intense tracks: "Climb Trees" (beat by child prodigy jel), "Message Sent" (beat by big alias) and "Inherited Scars" (beat by dj mayonnaise).
