Biography
Two dedicated employees of Dischord also in The Routineers, and has played in Most Secret Method and Beauty Pill), have joined forces in Soccer Team to produce “Volunteered” Civility and Professionalism imagination and subtlety. Nelson is a gifted engineer and musician with a keen eye for detail, and his affection for intricate, melodic guitar work meshes neatly with Melissa’s lilting vocals, by turns playful and melancholic. Volunteered is the product of much painstaking studio tweaking, and Nelson and Quinley have not yet attempted to translate their distinctive sound into a live context, but they are exploring the possibility of doing so.
