Eat The Low Dogs is a thorough exercise in post-anarcho-core that would be a perfect and overwhelming end-times soundtrack.
Originally formed in the summer of 2002, and taking their name from an obscure Sam Peckinpah film reference, US Christmas (or USX) has steadily evolved into a full-blown psychedelic space rock assault. So far they've concocted two self-released CDr's, a proper full length titled Salt The Wound (R.A.I.G, 2005) and a self-titled 12 inch (their first release with Neurot Recordings).
Now a five-piece unit of Matt Johnson (theremin, guitar), Nate Hall (guitar, vox), Tim Greene (drums), John Presnell (bass), Chad Davis (synth, guitar) and Ben Teeter (synth, keys, blips), they create very loud, loose and free music in a definite nasty psychedelic vein, mixing dirge, gooey sludge metal, blues and early country.
