Formed in Montreal in 1996 to provide avenues and resources for the city's marginal and overlooked punk/experimental music community, Constellation records has since gone from strength to strength. Probably most widely known for the music of Godspeed You Black Emperor and A Silver Mt. Zion, the label releases a broad spectrum of musical styles from the instrumental explorations of Do Make Say Think to the garage/soul/hard-rock rave-up of Lullabye Arkestra via the delicate pop of Sandro Perri and the folk-noir of Elizabeth Anka Vajagic. Recently the label focus has widened to include releases by acts from further afield. Albums by Vic Chesnutt and Carla Bozulich have received critical acclaim and commercial success whilst staying true to spirit the label was founded with. Constellation are committed to keeping everything in print to avoid collector's markets and inflated prices for earlier releases, so you have plenty of back catalogue to chose from!

Deluxe double vinyl gatefold issue of Hella's 2007 Ipecac debut. The first album to feature the new expanded five member line-up. Full-on super-prog madness. Two heavyweight 12-inch LPs, housed in a gatefold sleeve with new artwork and lyric sheet. 750 pressing on black vinyl and a special exclusive to the Southern webshop run of 250 copies on black and orange vinyl.

Oxbow - Narcotic Story LP (Black Diamond)

Oxbow return with possibly their BEST album to date. We at Southern are proud to present it to you via Black Diamond on deluxe 140g red vinyl housed in a gatefold sleeve with lyric sheet insert. Limited pressing of 1,300 only, 1,000 on red vinyl and 300 on a special exclusive Southern webshop colour of red with gold metallic speckles.

Goon Moon - Lickers Last Leg (Black Diamond) double LP

When it came out on CD, Jeordie White and Chris Goss's side-project/supergroup impressed enough people to make many end of year charts. Now available on deluxe double vinyl as the second available release on Black Diamond. We have a Southern mail order-only ultra limited white vinyl version. The normal version is on white with black splatters/moon effect.

Chrome Hoof - Pre-Emptive False Rapture (Southern) double LP

London's freakiest children Chrome Hoof mix prog, metal and disco and come up with an incredible sci-fi monstrosity. A long overdue super-ultra-mega-deluxe double vinyl version of the Hoof's killer debut album. Gatefold sleeve, embossed metallic logo, printed inserts, heavyweight 180gm black vinyl. We also have exclusive to our shop only-- coloured vinyl: white with black splatters. Yum!
