Zu Debut album For Ipecac

Carboniferous Since 1997, this meta/math/no-wave/free/noise/punk/jazz-inspired outfit have built an enviable reputation for sonic ferocity, hypnotic complexity and visceral attack, and now Zu are finally ready to unleash their debut for Ipecac in the snarling form of Carboniferous.

Driven by a punk rock work ethic, Zu have played an astounding number of over 1,000 gigs worldwide including Europe, North America, Asia, Russia, and even Africa and they have released fourteen albums to date. Zu's latest album sees the band honing their skills and delivering ten blasts of savagery and sophistication, featuring new label boss Mike Patton on vocals and electronics and Melvins/Fantomas stalwart Buzz Osbourne on guitar.

The band will also be playing dates worldwide later this year, including the Sonic City Festival in Belgium.
