Wolves In The Throne Room - Malevolent Grain
Southern Lord unleash a brand new vinyl-only-EP from the grimm Cascadia black metal horde Wolves In The Throne Room. Two brand new songs that further solidify their death-like grip on the jewelled throne of American black metal.
The Malevolent Grain EP is the first to feature their new guitar player Will Lindsay (formerly of Middian) who had been the band's touring bass player. As with their mind blowing debut Diadem of 12 Stars, the sound of this new recording blazes down similar paths as their past albums but seems to have even more depth and darkness than before.
Also look out for the recently finished 3rd studio album Black Cascade which will be released on Southern Lord on 23rd March.
The track listing for Malevolent Grain includes "A Looming Resonance", on which Jamie Meyers (Hammers of Misfortune) lends her beautiful voice to the track, backed up but the B-side "Hate Crystal", amounting to a 24 minute EP.
The band are also touring in Europe throughout February.
