Subhumans back in Blighty, take on US, and storm Canada!
Having been on the front-line of the British punk scene in the early 80's alongside bands such as Crass, Flux of Pink Indians, Rudimentary Peni, and Conflict; Subhumans were hailed as one of the most prolific bands of the evolving punk scene, stretching the boundaries of punk with their unique blend of structured dynamic tunes and incisive socio-political lyrics. Having made a name for themselves, they formed their own label Bluurg Records in '83, and released a phenomenal amount of records such as; Time Flies/Rats EP, Worlds Apart LP and 29:29 Split Vision LP before their split in '85. By then they'd played nearly 300 gigs including several European tours and two in the USA, (which, in the 80's, was a rare achievement for a non-commercially minded band). Band members then went on to form Citizen Fish and Culture Shock.
Luckily for us, they decided to reform in their original line-up roughly a decade ago, and have been back on tour ever since! This year saw the re-release of the entire Subhumans back catalogue - all of the albums were remastered from the original analogue tapes, and the original artwork was restored, and new posters were added!
The Subhumans are now happy to announce a new batch of dates to delight us with their dynamic punk.
