The Iceburn Collective, formed in 1991 in Utah, are back with the release of The Power Of The Lion on Southern Lord. Gentry Densley, vocalist/composer/guitarist and the sole remaining member that has been with the band since their beginning, brings us a double vinyl release with seven pieces that were issued on CD back in 1998 on the band's own label. Their unique style combining genres like jazz, punk, heavy and classical music can be felt throughout this composition. Jazzcore is what many would say their genre is, a blend between the energy and power of hardcore punk and metal, with the flow and intricacy of jazz.This is Iceburn's most electrifying and edgy studio work.

Densley's vision has also been key for the creation of new duo Eagle Twin who will be releasing their debut album this summer on Southern Lord.
