Glorytellers tour US and Canada!
Glorytellers will be touring the USA and Canada throughout June, and these are not shows to be missed! Geoff Farina, formerly front-man of legendary Karate, teamed with Luther Gray III on drums, Gavin McCarthy (Karate, Cul de Sac) and Ty Citerman (Gutbucket) are on the road with their abstract harmonies and dark lyrical stories. The characters in these tales share a positive outlook, and Glorytellers' songs are ultimately about survivors searching for normalcy in the face of tribulation. Urgent vocals on pristine pre-WWII guitar and drum sounds, bass lines thumb-picked on acoustic guitar, and 50-year-old cymbals sizzle for choruses embellishing these narratives. Inspired by early American music, ragtime guitar, and the 80s underground music they grew up with such as The Minutemen, Gray Matter, Wire, The Effigies, Squirrel Bait, Crass, Pere Ubu, The Gun Club, and The Smiths. Diamond.
Glorytellers will be releasing their second album on Southern in September. Their debut album is available on CD and vinyl now.
